SCOTT-T transformers are a pair of transformers sold in matched sets whose
function is to convert from
2 phase to 3 phase (or vice versa). In essance the
purpose of the matching is to insure that the spacial ratio of the input phases
is representative (within tolerance) of the voltage (sin/cos) ratios of the output.
BG Laboratories has been designing and building precision Scott-T transformers
for 30 years,
and while SCOTT-T's are a relatively small part of our production,
we are proud of the fact that we are the foremost manufacturer of them in the
country.
